Create a simple map

The easiest way to use Bettermaps app is to create a simple map using a base style. Mare sure you are in the create map page, by pressing the button on the side bar or the icon on the dashboard:

You can always create maps directly with our AI assistant Cass. Just go to the dashboard and ask what you want.

Cass is an AI assistant that allows you to create digital cartography in any language. Just write what you want and he el prompt back what he understood should do. At the moment he just speaks english, but understands almost any language.

Create a new map

First of all, make sure you are in edit mode and not in presentation mode. You can switch modes on the top right corner with the switch.

To create a new map, press the first button of the actions bar. This will prompt a message to tell you that you are about to delete the existing map and create a new one.

Select a base style

Once accepted, a new modal opens with the existing base layers that you can choose. Those layers are being continuously updated, so please come back from time to time to check for new base maps.

You just need to press the button to accept the style, and you have create your first map!
